Gillian Ford
Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my portfolio.
If you've made it this far, you may be interested in collaborating with me–how exciting! Thank you for being interested in my work and valuing design.
In 2012, I began designing while completing my undergraduate studies in Social Enterprise and Fine Art at Mercer University in Macon, GA. Since then, I have developed a fulfilling career as a creative professional with non-profits, as well as continuing to work with freelance design clients.
My niche is designing thoughtful, strategic brands for socially-conscious small businesses and organizations. My other, more important niche is people. People who are curious, unconventional, empathetic, color-outside-the-lines, quirky and passionate. Really... the curious-er the better. People like us see the world differently, and want to leave it a brighter, kinder, more beautiful place.
So... what ideas have captured your mind, body and soul? What vision is keeping you up at night because you just cannot stop thinking about it? Whatever you have a huge heart for – that's the thing I want to help you bring to life.
What's it like to work with me?
I love design because it is a universal language of color, texture, pattern, depth, perspective and movement that communicates the things that matter most. But, I am most motivated by the relational nature of the creative process. Working with me is an adventure in creativity where you will be heard, challenged and emboldened. Branding is about emotion, and *good* branding invites your clients and audience to be part of what you are doing. Step by step, I'll guide you through the design process, taking the ideas in your head to make something tangible–something with the same look and feel on the outside, as the exciting vision you have on the inside. Through thoughtful design with modern, intentional details, together we can bring a style to life that is uniquely yours–and that's exactly the point.
